Overview

Harmony Solar Dennistown Limited, on behalf of ESB, is developing a new renewable energy project, Wexford Hub Solar Farm, located in south County Wexford.

Construction of the 100MW farm started in May 2025 and, once complete, it will generate enough electricity to power approximately 25,000 homes, farms and businesses.

ESB is committed to engaging closely with the local community to ensure the successful delivery of the Wexford Hub Solar Farm by spring 2027.

As part of ESB’s Net Zero by 2040 strategy, our ambition is to develop 1.8GW of utility scale solar generation by 2030. We will continue to develop our growing solar energy portfolio, partnering with others to achieve the necessary scale.

Wexford Hub Solar Farm is located in south County Wexford and comprises of four different sites named Growtown, Youngstown, Dennistown and Mayglass.
